The Guidance Department is coordinating a Career Day on May 23rd. This is an opportunity for our students to learn about different careers and the skills and responsibilities of people in those jobs. We are looking for volunteers to share what they do in their career or job. Volunteers will help build career awareness using an interactive display/activity. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, please contact your guidance counselor.

|I grew up in Maryland where I attended University of Maryland and graduated with a degree in Community Health. I began my counseling and teaching career working at community health agencies in Hawaii and Washington. I taught violence prevention education and served as a child advocate. I earned my Masters Degree in School Counseling at Eastern Washington University. Last year was my first year as a school counselor where I worked with 5th and 6th grade at Rymfire. I am married and have two dogs. I enjoy practicing yoga, reading, running, and spending time at the beach with my family.|
Grades 5 and 6
I am excited to begin my 6th year as a Guidance Counselor here at Rymfire Elementary and my 15th year working in Education. This year I have moved to the “back building” with our 5th and 6th graders and look forward to assisting those students as they move through the pre-teen years into Middle School.
My husband Jim and I, along with our two boys Jake and Dylan are happy to call Flagler County home!
