The Guidance Department is coordinating a Career Day on May 23rd. This is an opportunity for our students to learn about different careers and the skills and responsibilities of people in those jobs. We are looking for volunteers to share what they do in their career or job. Volunteers will help build career awareness using an interactive display/activity. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, please contact your guidance counselor.

I grew up in Maryland where I attended University of Maryland and graduated with a degree in Community Health. I began my counseling and teaching career working at community health agencies in Hawaii and Washington. I taught violence prevention education and served as a child advocate. I earned my Masters Degree in School Counseling at Eastern Washington University. Last year was my first year as a school counselor where I worked with 5th and 6th grade at Rymfire.
